Legendary Sports Group Debuts Fivestar Elite Lacrosse Event to Showcase the Best of the Class of 2023
Hall of Fame Coaching Staff to lead this elite showcase event at IMG Academy in Florida
ANNAPOLIS, MD – Legendary Sports Group announced today a new, elite lacrosse experience in the Fivestar Elite Lacrosse event which will be held December 4-6, 2020 at IMG Academy in Bradenton, FL.
Fivestar Elite Lacrosse will select the best players at each position from the class of 2023 boys to attend this invitation-only event run by Hall of Fame coaches, David Pietramala and Dave Cottle. This event will focus on player development with emphasis not only on the on-field skills, but also mental strength and how to navigate the NCAA recruitment process.
“Combining an elite coaching staff with the best of the best players in the 2023 class is what will set Fivestar Elite apart. We will focus on player development at the position level but also give these players a chance to compete against the very best of their class. This will be an experience not to miss for the 2023’s”, said Pietramala who is one of the events Co-Directors.
In addition to Pietramala and Cottle, the Fivestar coaching staff is jampacked with world class coaches including Richie Meade, Don Zimmerman, Jim Stagnitta, Rick Sowell, Andy Towers, Chris Bates and Bill Dwan to name a few.
“We have assembled a tremendous coaching staff for Fivestar Elite. The talent level of this staff is second to none. We have Team USA experience, World Games champions, NCAA champions, MLL and PLL champions on staff,” says Cottle, who serves as the other Co-Director. “It’s an extremely talented group and these players will benefit greatly from this experience.”
Players will be treated to a first-class experience from the moment they step onto the grounds of IMG Academy’s campus and will receive a custom Fivestar gear package at a Friday evening welcome reception. The highlight of the event will be the Saturday evening All-Star game in IMG Stadium which will be an early look at the best talent of the 2023 class.
